I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Equipment Waiver and Release of Liability (the "Waiver"). In consideration for being permitted to use the equipment provided by the Bustins Island Village Corporation (BIVC), I voluntarily agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk: I understand and acknowledge that the use of equipment involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of injury, illness, or damage to personal property. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of the equipment.
Release of Liability: I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the BIVC, its officers, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or to any property belonging to me while using the equipment provided by the Company.
Responsibility for Equipment: I agree to use the equipment in a safe and responsible manner, and I accept full responsibility for any damage or loss to the equipment resulting from my negligence or intentional misconduct.
Insurance: I understand that the BIVC does not provide insurance coverage for my use of the equipment. It is my responsibility to obtain any necessary insurance coverage to protect against any loss or damage.
Emergency Medical Treatment: In the event of injury or illness, I authorize the BIVC to seek and consent to emergency medical treatment on my behalf.
I have carefully read this Equipment Waiver and Release of Liability, understand its contents, and voluntarily agree to its terms. I acknowledge that I am giving up substantial legal rights by signing this waiver and release, and I do so freely and voluntarily without any inducement. This waiver is only valid through May 20th 2024 to Oct 15th 2024.
